Situated in the heart of Cowbridge High Street, Farthings Delicatessen was first launched in 2003 as the natural progression to the Farthings Restaurant and Bar 44 Tapas Bar. Many customers wanted to be able to eat their favourite restaurant or tapas dishes at home or serve them at a dinner party and, as a result, Natalie, Tom and Owen launched the deli as a suitable outlet.
As you would expect, a large and diverse range of produce from around the world - cheeses, charcuterie, olives, oils, breads, chutneys, preserves and chocolates to name a few - are stocked, but it is our homemade food which really sets us apart form other shops. With the accent firmly on Welsh and Organic produce, Farthings At Home is a cornucopia of choice for the discerning deli-slave!
Sumptuous desserts, salads, sandwiches, pasta sauces, many of our Bistro dishes and other goodies are produced daily on the premisis and served with a smile. We also provide a bespoke Hamper service where the customer can pop-in and choose an array of produce which we will package and deliver. Altenatively, click on our “hamper” section and select the present of your choice and we can send it anywhere in the UK as a special gift for a close friend, relative or colleague!
