Farthings Restaurant was taken over by the current owners in 2000. Already a thriving and busy lunchtime Brasserie, we extended service to an exciting traditional French Brasserie evening menu with a modern Welsh twist!
The Restaurant is situated in a 17th century Coach House with many of the original features still retained. Throw some money in the 50ft deep well at the heart of the restaurant and make a wish, or snuggle up for a romantic meal in one of the original stone alcoves, but above all customers will enjoy savouring the excellent food and unique ambience and personality of Farthings.
The tantalising menu consists of a few of our signature dishes allied to traditional fayre all made with the finest local ingredients. There is also the famous Farthings Dessert counter to salivate over, filled with sumptuous delights from the hands of our renowned pastry chefs.
The food is complimented by a wine list made up of speciality wines from all the premier wine regions of the world. Illy coffee and Traditional Farthings breakfasts are served on a daily basis by our friendly and experienced staff.
With all these treats to savour, Farthings is must when visiting the Historic Market Town of Cowbridge
