Great news! Bar 44 has been named as one of the best restaurants in Wales today. Appearing for the first time in the Good Food Guide, this is fantastic recognition for all the efforts of the whole team at Bar 44 and our loyal customers and suppliers.

The Good Food Guide is reknowned as one of the top restaurant review bodies in Britain and will hopefully help us to go from strength to strength over the next 12 months.

We are very pleased to announce that our fantastic new seasonal Tapas Menu has been launched today @ 12 noon. So far it has been very well received and we look forward to welcoming all customers, old and new, to sample some of the kitchen team’s new creations!

Movember – the Day of Reckoning is Nigh!

As those frequent flyers @ Bar 44 will have noticed, many of the male bar staff having been growing some quite disturbing facial hair over the last four weeks. This is all in aid of the male prostate awareness charity – “Movember” (a mo is a moustache!).

Anyhow – every year, all the staff compete for the Movember Cup (a crystal pint glass), from which the winner can drink for the whole year as best mo in class. The judging takes place this Sunday evening (28th November – from 7pm) during our traditional fancy dress party (with special cocktails for the charity) and we would love to see as many faces as possible to raise a bit of money for a good cause and a great night!
